Great picnic spot

Quick post today. We made it to Santiago, where we’ll be over the next couple of days.

We arrived in town at rush hour and to reach our hotel we had to drive through the city center. It sure looks like an exciting place, with nice buildings, lots of shopping and wide boulevards. We’ll have time to check out its highlights, and of course, we’ll report on it.

The drive here took three and a half hours, but before attempting it we had a very nice excursion to the Siete Tazas National Park.

It was a very pleasant visit. We stayed there until 3:30PM. The weather was sunny, and the temperature in the 80s, but with little humidity; perfect for a picnic and a nice hike to check out its waterfalls.
