We had returned to Iguazu to overnight and catch an early morning flight to Buenos Aires. Not much to add to our last two days in the province of Misiones, other than a pleasant visit to two small waterfalls and their surrounding parks.
Filling up your car in Iguazu is a near nightmare. Drivers from neighboring Brazil and Paraguay come in to fill up their cars at the much more convenient prices on this side of their border. We had to wait an hour in a line that winded for four city blocks.
Back in the capital city, we enjoyed our stay at Unique Art Boutique Hotel in the area of town called Puerto Madero. It is a very modern section of the city, yet adjacent to downtown, with numerous classy restaurants and a river-walk that comes alive at night with young people filling the many breweries.
Our Argentinian trip is about to be over, as we will be boarding our flight to Atlanta. We are being warned that our connection to Boston may suffer some delays on account of the 7 to 12 inches of snow being predicted for Friday. Oh, the thought of shoveling snow in freezing weather makes us wish we could extend just a couple of weeks longer, but such is life, and we are thankful we had this wonderful opportunity. Many thanks to all who followed us. After this entry I will post a recap.
Until next time, my friends!
Beautiful country, have a safe trip home
