Here we are, unexpectedly, in Atlanta, Georgia. It's a perfect time to ponder and summarize our wonderful trip to Argentina. While there have been some setbacks (missing out on our planned week in Chile above all), Argentina will be remembered by us as another awesome destination. Essentially, we have travelled the country from (almost) its southernmost point to its northernmost. We have seen the sun set as early as 6PM in Iguazu, and as late as 10:30PM in El Calafate. We have experienced some of the strongest winds ever, some of the driest climate and some of the most torrid heat and humidity. We have tasted some of the world's finest wines. We have seen some of the most spectacular scenery on earth; slept at sea level, as well as at above 14,000 feet. We've been entertained in a world-class city such as Buenos Aires and spent time along the Uruguayan coast.
