A lovely destination for those seeking a relaxing experience and a "real" environment. No tourist meccas here, nor hawkers trying to get you to buy trinkets. What you will find are genuinely lovely people, simple villages, lots of nature. I would encourage anyone to visit El Salvador, in spite of the bad reputation the country endured during the recent past.
